I readΒ π πππ π‘π π‘βπ π»πππππ€Β andΒ π ππ‘π’ππ π‘π π‘βπ π»πππππ€Β by Cassandra Featherstone. At first I wasn’t thrilled with π πππ π‘π π‘βπ π»πππππ€. The FMC is turned down for her dream job in chapter one. And the next several chapters are rife with bitterness, anger, and outrage that she’s worked all these years for the job…and is denied it. That, of course, sets her off to discover why she didn’t get the job.
And it’s when she gets home to the Hollow that things really picked up. From that point on, I loved every single word of both of these books. I loved the characters, the plots, the intrigue, the obstacles she has to overcome. Everything.
And I just wish the third book were already here. Definitely go grab it. It’s worth slogging through the first couple of angsty chapters to get to the absolute wonderful delight that the rest of the books are. You can find all the books in the series (including book 3’s preorder) here.
